UMBUTU, Together we stand

UMBUTU

Together we stand
Ladies and gentlemen
Old and young
Sit down
And let me tell you a story
Of wonderful children

Who has in them
The attributes of harmony
An old man test this children
By tying them together
And placing fruits all over a garden
He afterwards told them to go for the fruits

The children went over to the fruits one by one
Together savoring the sweetness of the fruits
The old man watch in amazement
Asked them the reason for their actions
In chorus they replied ''Together we stand"
United we stand, divided we fall

What makes a leader if followers are absent?
What makes a country if people are absent?
What makes a school if students are absent?
We rise by lifting others
Do you know what could have
Befall those children
If they decided to go  their separate ways
 As  they are tied together
They will never be able to
Eat any of the fruits In the garden

Be your brother's keeper
Lift others up
And you shall soar in the sky
